Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 June 2026
This policy describes how Maison Coiffure processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
Data controller
The data controller is Maison Coiffure, based in Denmark. For any privacy request or question, you can reach us via our contact page.
Data we collect
- Name, email, phone — to manage your booking (lawful basis: contract).
- Optional notes — to deliver the service you requested.
- Payment details handled by our payment processor — to process payments (lawful basis: contract).
- Marketing/SMS opt-in flags — only with your consent.
Retention
Booking and transaction records are kept for 7 years to comply with Danish bookkeeping and tax regulations. Marketing data is kept until consent is withdrawn.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability (export), or object to processing by emailing us. We respond within 30 days. You may also withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Processors & transfers
We use BookOS as the platform that powers our booking, payments, email and website. BookOS in turn relies on a small number of sub-processors (hosting, database, payments, email, calendar). Data Processing Agreements are in place and data is stored in the EU where possible. Where a sub-processor transfers data outside the EU/EEA, that transfer is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. See BookOS’s current sub-processor list.
Cookies
For details on the cookies we use and how to manage consent, see our cookie policy.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
